How Opklaar uses AI, in plain terms.

Published before anyone asked, because you should not have to ask.

1. A tool, not a decision maker.

   AI is used to speed up the daily work: drafting, diagnostics, and code. A human reviews and decides everything that ships, changes, or gets sent. Nothing runs on your store that a person did not check and approve.

2. What it sees, and what it never sees.

   It sees the working material needed for the job: site code, configuration, and the content being worked on.

   It never sees payment card data, passwords, or credentials. Those are not collected or stored at all, by design.

3. Where your data lives.

   Your store and site remain the system of record. Working copies are kept no longer than 30 days, on EU hosted infrastructure (Hetzner, Finland and Germany).

4. Your choice, always.

   AI assist can be disabled for your account at any time. Same service, same person, may take a little longer. That is the only difference.

5. Confidentiality.

   Everything is covered by the confidentiality clause of our agreement. Your data is never used to train models and never shared between clients.

6. GDPR.

   Once established in the Netherlands, Opklaar operates under EU law. A Data Processing Addendum is available on request.
